Ali Landry Monteverde

Ali Landry, an American beauty pageant contestant, model, and actress who was crowned Miss USA in 1996, is an American actress. Her mother named her in honor of the actress Ali MacGraw after she watched the film she directed in 1970, 'Love Story'. She is of French (Cajun) origin and was born in Cecilia, Louisiana, where she attended Cecilia High School. At the age of 17, she was the captain of her high school team's cheerleading squad, and later awarded the title of Miss Louisiana Teen USA. She then won 1996 'Miss Louisiana USA' and stepped into limelight after winning the 'Miss USA' title. She began her acting career in 1997 with the tv show 'Clueless'. Her name was subsequently dubbed "the Doritos Girl", after appearing in a 'Doritos commercial' for the Super Bowl of 1998. Her film debut came in the movie 'Beautiful' in 2000. She has appeared in many films and television series over time. Her name is featured on numerous lists of the most-wanted women.
